Chevron U.S.A. Inc., the domestic oil and natural gas subsidiary of Chevron Corp., San Francisco, has named seven vice presidents and general managers to head new business units for exploration, land and production. The assignments are part of a Chevron U.S.A. restructuring that is expected to cut about 800 positions. The new executives include: John Cameron, Western Production Business Unit in Bakersfield; Gene Thomas, Rocky Mountain Production Business Unit in Denver; Jim Hooks, Western Exploration Business Unit in Houston; Will Lewis, Central Production Business Unit in Houston; Burt Branstetter, Land Business Unit in Houston; Bob Herrin Jr., Permian Basin Production Business Unit in Midland, Tex.; Dave Lott Jr., Eastern Exploration Business Unit in New Orleans.
