FROM TIMES WIRE SERVICES

An arrest warrant was issued today for an army officer accused of destroying evidence in the November massacre of six Jesuit priests, their cook and her teen-age daughter.

The warrant for Lt. Col. Carlos Camilo Hernandez was issued by Judge Ricardo Zamora, who is handling the politically charged investigation.

The charges accuse Camilo Hernandez of destroying the mission logs of troops accused of the shooting. Camilo, now an executive officer of the elite Belloso Battalion in the capital, is the former assistant director of the military college where the troops were stationed.
