LIVERPOOL, England —
Paul McCartney returned to Liverpool, the birthplace of the Beatles, and staged a concert that rolled back 30 years for 50,000 delighted fans.
“We’re going back through the mists of time to a place they call the ‘60s,” he told the cheering capacity audience Thursday in the stadium built specially for the concert in the northwestern port city.
