Polaroid and Minolta in Pact: The companies said Polaroid will make an advanced instant camera that Minolta will market in the United States under the Minolta brand, starting in August. Polaroid President I. MacAllister Booth said, “Minolta and Polaroid see this as a first step to explore a potential long-term collaboration.” It will be the first time Polaroid instant cameras are broadly available to consumers under another brand name.
