Architect Keating Opens Own Group

Architect Richard Keating, former head of the Los Angeles office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, has established his own practice with partners Michael Mann, Robert Jernigan and Lauren Rottet, all formerly with SOM’s Los Angeles operation. Keating is the design partner in the new firm of Keating, Mann, Jernigan, Rottet.

The principal projects KMJR is currently completing in L.A. include the 52-story Gas Company Tower for Maguire Thomas Partners, across Fifth Street from the Biltmore Hotel, and the headquarters for Columbia Savings and Loan in Beverly Hills. The firm is also working on projects in Texas and Taiwan.
