Security Pacific Bias Suit: An employment discrimination lawsuit was filed against Security Pacific Bank by a former employee who claims she was sexually harassed. The Los Angeles Superior Court case by Patricia E. Gough alleges that her former supervisor, Richard Rosenthal, became “hostile, constantly harassed her” and “made demeaning comments” after she stopped dating him. The suit claims that Rosenthal eventually “grabbed her by the throat,” threw her against the wall and shouted obscenities at her in front of a co-worker. Gough seeks unstated damages because she was allegedly transferred, faced a “hostile work environment,” became the subject of rumors and ultimately had to resign. (Filed June 25, 1990. Case No. BC4282)
