Cambridge Adagio, a 37-unit development of four-bedroom single-family move-up houses by Cambridge Development Group, opens today in western Lancaster.

The 15 houses in the first phase range from 2,342 to 2,520 square feet and are priced from $193,950 to $213,950. Features include three bathrooms, wood-burning fireplaces, tile or hardwood surfaced entries, concrete tile roofs and volume ceilings.

Move-ins are scheduled to begin in August. Two model homes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 3029 Glad Way Ave., near Avenue J and 30th Street West, reached from the westbound Avenue J exit of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

2 Phases in Victorville

California Image, a 658-unit single-family development by Northwoods Construction Co. opens today in Victorville.

The first two phases, with 49 houses in the first and 54 in the second, will be released at the same time, according to Ron Herrema of the Upland-based building firm. The two-, three- and four-bedroom houses have 1,050 to 1,912 square feet of living area in two one-story and two two-story plans.

Prices range from $94,900 to $129,900, and first move-ins are planned for late July. Features of the contemporary-styled houses include rounded drywall corners, volume ceilings, ceramic counters, concrete tile roofs, central air conditioning and landscaped front yards with sprinklers.

Four furnished models will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on Village Drive, reached from the westbound Mojave Drive exit of the Barstow (15) Freeway.
