After reading the June 17 cover story...

After reading the June 17 cover story on TV fathers, I’d like to say that as a woman, I want to stick up for Al Bundy! This poor guy works hard and makes little money, as do a lot of men in today’s society.

Al works hard and asks for nothing more than food, love and respect. Yet his self-centered wife Peg spends the little money he earns, steals money out of his wallet and does no cooking or cleaning, shopping or laundry.

In this case, Al, who was listed as a bad father, isn’t. He’s a neglected father. So don’t pass judgment; it could happen to you!
