Jacobs Engineering: The Pasadena firm said third-quarter net income rose 39% to $3.64 million, even as revenue fell 3% to $221.1 million. The company said the income figure reflects continued strength in the industry as a whole and noted in particular strong performances in its engineering and consulting services.
