COUNTYWIDE : Church Fund-Raiser to Benefit Homeless
The Santa Ana-based Second Baptist Church will hold its first Homeless Outreach fund-raiser and fashion show today to aid some of Orange County’s homeless.
The primary goal, project spokesman Donald Craig said, is to collect start-up money for the Homeless Outreach Project group to lease property through the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The fund-raiser is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Tennis Club, 900 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. For information, call the church at (714) 541-4155.
