BIKE GEAR: Since Greg LeMond used uniquely molded Scott aerobars (above) so successfully in winning the 1989 Tour de France, everybody seems to have embraced them, as they do with much of the gear LeMond uses (E1). He didn’t introduce any radical new features in winning this year’s Tour, but he did use a variation of the classic drop handlebars, which curve in toward the center. Look for the new bars to be the hottest thing at bike shops this year.
