Biting the Hand of NEA

In your article on the NEA on July 13 (“Lewitzky Sues NEA Over Obscenity Issue”), I find it very interesting that Bella Lewitzky has received more than $1.4 million in NEA funding since 1972.

Now she wants to dictate the terms of those grants through her lawsuit. That’s biting the hand that feeds you, lady!
