Anger Over Malathion Spraying

So far, the State of California’s efforts at eradicating the Medfly have proven ineffective at best. In fact, the only thing that they seem adept at is trapping the little pests! Has anyone suggested to them that their efforts might be more successful if they set thousands and thousands of Medfly traps, rather than repeatedly spraying us with poison?
