Israel Admits It Has Chemical Weapons

JERUSALEM —
Science Minister Yuval Neeman said Friday that Israel has chemical weapons and would use them if attacked by Iraq.
The remarks were the most far-reaching by an Israeli official on the issue. In the past, Israeli officials have always refused to comment on whether Israel has chemical weapons although it was widely believed to have them.
