‘Star Wars’ Rocket Fails

WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. —
An Aries rocket carrying an electronics payload to be tested for the “Star Wars” program went off course and was destroyed 31 seconds after it lifted off, authorities said Friday.
