Wrong on Boston

Share

As a former Rhode Islander, I realize the state may be small, but this does not explain its disappearance from the map which accompanied Robert Burns’ articles on July 1. In an attempt to compare the location of Boston in relation to the Northeast states, the map stretched Connecticut’s eastern border all the way to Massachusetts, thereby sinking Rhode Island into the Atlantic Ocean. While Californians may fear this same occurrence on its coast after the Big One, I am certain the folks in R.I. would appreciate remaining geographically afloat.
