Bruce Davis Joins Raiders in London

Offensive tackle Bruce Davis rejoined the Raiders Tuesday, after a two-year absence.

Davis, who played for the Raiders from 1979-87, was traded to the Houston Oilers in 1988, where he played the last two seasons. He was waived by the Oilers in the off-season and signed with the Raiders as a free agent. He joined the team in London, where the Raiders will play the New Orleans Saints in an exhibition game Sunday.

The Raiders cut tackle John Layfield, a rookie free agent from Abilene Christian, to make room for Davis.
