Two Nations Approve Sale of ICN’s Ribavirin: ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. said that Hungary and New Zealand have authorized the sale of ribavirin, which the Costa Mesa firm markets under the Virazole label, for treatment of infant lung disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The company said Virazole is now authorized for use against RSV in 18 countries, including the United States.
