The European community stood by silently as Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938, hoping to appease him. We know the rest.
Hussein invades Kuwait, but the Arab community has stood silent, fearing his wrath and trembling with fear. We rattle our sabers, but oil-poor countries like Japan can only voice their “concern.”
I can only hope that the leaders of the Arab states have read their history books. What we are seeing now is a dress rehearsal for World War III.
