San Diego Becomes Car Import Terminal: A load of Isuzu cars and trucks rolled off a transport ship into the National City Marine Terminal, officially making San Diego’s harbor the sixth California port to receive new cars from Europe or Asia. The cars were formerly imported through Long Beach harbor.
