USC Scientist Wins Swiss Academy Prize

Franz Hefti of Altadena, a neuroscientist at USC’s Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, has been awarded the $30,000 Robert Bing Prize by the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences.

The prize was awarded for Hefti’s research into treatment of degenerative neurological diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
