Syncor International Corp.: The Los Angeles operator of high-tech pharmacy service centers that supply hospitals, doctors and consumers said fourth-quarter net income soared 615% to $765,000, while revenue increased 15.3% to $35.8 million, both record highs. For the full year, profit rose 731% to $3.6 million, also a record. The firm noted that at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, it restructured management and made operations more efficient while raising prices.
