Motorists Respond to Boycott Calls: Drivers in a number of U.S. cities protested rising gasoline prices by refusing to buy fuel and driving with their headlights on. KGGI, the Riverside station that organized the effort, said about 40 stations nationwide took part. A Houston station backing the boycott said another 15 stations were taking part.
