Hey, Michael Wilmington--so glad to see that in your Aug. 19 article (“Nicolas Cage--Wild and Full of Heart”), you finally managed to find a way to use that fabulous phrase you’ve been saving since freshman comp: “. . . he delivers it with the lazy spontaneity of a Tupelo savage midwifed by a black leather jukebox out of a Chevy.” Didn’t mean a thing to me, but I guess your editors must have liked it.
