SHORT TAKES : Olmos Visits Fields of Dreams

Production has begun on locations in Idaho for “Talent for the Game,” a baseball drama starring Edward James Olmos under the direction of Robert M. Young.

Olmos will be seen as a major legue baseball scout whose future depends on finding a phenomenally talented new player for his team. He finds just such a prospect in the person of a young pitcher whose ability exceeds expectations.

From the bush leagues to major league negotiations in Los Angeles, Olmos finds himself and his protege brutally exploited.
