HOT & COLD: “The Two Jakes” may be fading at the box office, but “Chinatown,” the movie to which “Jakes” is a sequel, is the hottest title in local video rentals. The video has been out for 11 years, but now rental waiting lists are up to a week long in some county outlets and new cassettes are on back order. “We only have two copies, but those two are consistently off the shelves,’ said a clerk at a Wherehouse in Santa Ana. “A lot of customers are coming in and asking for it since ‘The Two Jakes’ opened.”
