11 Die in Taiwan Typhoon

TAIPEI, Taiwan —
Typhoon Yancy killed 11 people when it ripped through Taiwan on Sunday, and heavy rain and high winds caused damage estimated at millions of dollars, police and officials said Monday.
Police said seven people were still missing, most swept away by floodwaters caused by the typhoon.
