LIKE other show- biz stars, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and the rest of the gang are now bi-coastal. The Sesame Street General Store--the first of its kind anywhere--opens this month in the South Coast Plaza, showcasing puppets, books and other products. Kids will feel right at home; the store re-creates Bert and Ernie’s apartment, at 123 Sesame Street, and Mr. Hooper’s General Store.
