Adobe Plans New Accord With Apple: Adobe Systems, a Mountain View, Calif., firm that provides software for high-quality electronic printing, said it signed a letter of intent with Apple Computer to reach a new and expanded technology licensing agreement. Analysts said the move is highly positive for Adobe because it represents something of a rapprochement between the two companies, who were close allies until last year.
