STRANGE FRUIT: Martika doing Billie Holiday? That’s right, the teen pop starlet, who had a hit last year with “Toy Soldiers,” is playing a jazz singer (and nightclub owner) in the first batch of new episodes on “Wiseguy” this fall. Playing Steven Bauer’s girlfriend, Martika will appear in six episodes, including the two-hour premiere next month, performing such torch songs as “Good Morning Heartache,” “Comes Love” and “Love for Sale.” . . . Hollywood Records, which so far has put out a Disney soundtrack (“Arachnophobia”) and an album by teen-idol wanna-bes the Party, has made its first major artist signing . . . Queen. Hollywood will put the band into the studio later this year, with hopes of coaxing a comeback album from the aging stars, whose sales (at least in the U.S.) have fallen off considerably in recent years. . . . And would you believe that the Master of Reality’s new drummer is . . . Ginger Baker? True--the old Cream mainstay has joined the hot new Delicious Vinyl band.
