COSTA MESA : Cable TV Panel Puts Grants Up for Grabs

The city’s Cable Television Committee is accepting applications from individuals and organizations for local programming project grants.

The panel’s goal is to encourage development of local programming and innovative uses of the Costa Mesa television system.

People who live or work in Costa Mesa are eligible for the grants. Organizations applying must be nonprofit corporations or unincorporated associations that serve the Costa Mesa area.

The city is also looking for residents to serve on the Cable Television Committee, a 12-member board that serves as an advisory body to the Costa Mesa City Council. Anyone interested in serving on the committee should submit a letter and resume to the Cable Television Office, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, 92626, by Oct. 1.

Individuals or organizations interested in the grant program should contact the Cable Television Office. The deadline for applications is Oct. 1.
