TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —
A $200 investment in lottery tickets paid off for the 10 members of a family pool who stepped forward today with the fourth winning ticket in Florida’s $106.5-million Lotto jackpot.
It was the largest single investment made thus far by the appropriately named “Happy Ten Group,” who also routinely play the Pennsylvania lottery, said family representative Eileen Cernansky during a news conference.
That leaves two of the six winning tickets unaccounted for in the Sept. 15 jackpot, which was the second largest ever awarded in the United States.
