NCAA Champions Should Hoop It Up in Olympics

In regards to your Sept. 14 article, “U.S. to Unleash NBA for Olympic Gold”:

Is winning so important that we must go to the pro ranks in lieu of giving an up-and-coming high school or college player an opportunity to participate?

Each year we already have a playoff for the NCAA championship. Why not use the winning team as our Olympic team?
