Absolute moralists like McCarthy would have us believe that abortions are mostly carried out as a delayed form of contraception. The percentage of such cases cannot be accurately calculated.

In abortion, as in other “moral” issues, an important question is: Would you want someone else to have the power to make a decision for you that would ultimately affect you for the rest of your life?
