Richard J. Farana and Dean A. Thie have joined the Huntington Beach advertising agency of Clark Meyer Charters & Howell as vice presidents. Before being named vice president, account services, Farana was account management supervisor at LeAnce & Herbert Advertising and Public Relations in Irvine. He also held senior positions at TFB/BBDO in Palo Alto. Thie, appointed vice president, public relations, was formerly general manager of the Newport Beach office of Floathe Johnson Associates. He previously held senior public relations positions at Franson & Associates and the corporate communications division of J. Walter Thompson Co.
