Share

A citizens group that opposes building a government and arts center at the Jungleland site has decided to hold a second forum Oct. 24 for Thousand Oaks City Council candidates.

Last week, seven of the nine candidates attended the first scheduled public forum hosted by the Committee for Government by the People and for the People.

The second forum will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 495 N. Ventu Park Road.

The Committee for Government has sharply criticized the plan to build a government center, arts auditorium and commercial complex at the site of a former wild animal park called Jungleland.
