‘Lettuce Amuse’ Group Is Telling It Straight

Lettuce Amuse U Comedy Schools will present a drug awareness assembly program in four San Gabriel Valley schools this week.

A professional comedian will combine humor and seriousness through facts and statistics.

The National Commission Against Drunk Driving has named the organization the 1990 winner of the Youth Initiative Award for its work.

The program will be presented Monday at Alhambra High School, Tuesday at Temple Intermediate School in Rosemead and Chaparral Middle School in Diamond Bar, and Wednesday at Suzanne Middle School in Walnut.
