Orange County Focus : Annual Israel Fair to Be Held Sunday

The 17th annual Israel Fair, featuring Jewish ethnic foods, handicrafts and entertainment, will be held at the Orange County Fairgrounds on Sunday.
The fair, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will also feature a speech by Anna Paukov, a Soviet emigre now living in Israel. She will address an afternoon rally celebrating the release of Jews from the Soviet Union.
In addition, the fair will include Israeli dancing, children’s games, a petting zoo and more than 150 booths with ethnic and kosher food, art and imports. Entertainment will be provided from two stages.
The fair is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Orange County in cooperation with the Israel’s consul general of the State of Israel.
General admission is $5 (seniors $4). Children will be admitted for $1.50. For information, call (714) 259-0655.
