Two Vietnamese women in Linda Vista were bound and robbed Tuesday afternoon by two men wearing black clothing and black knitted masks, police spokesman Bill Robinson said. One of the women was stabbed in the calf and required treatment at Sharp Hospital.

According to police reports, a 75-year-old woman was working in her back yard when two young men grabbed her from behind, dragged her into the house and bound her mouth and legs. Her 38-year-old daughter was also tied up when she arrived home during the robbery. As the two men ransacked the house for jewelry and other valuables, they stabbed the older women once and beat the daughter, Robinson said.

After the two left, the daughter freed herself from a chair and sought help. Robinson said police have identified no suspects.
