Credit Crunch Tightens: A Goldman, Sachs & Co. survey of financial officers at major corporations found that more than half are having trouble getting as much credit as they would like from the nation’s banks. Evidence of tight lending by banks previously had come mostly from mid-sized and smaller firms.
