GARDEN GROVE : 3,000 Are Expected at Parish Festival
More than 3,000 people are expected to attend the 34th annual St. Columban’s Parish Festival, which this year features carnival rides, food booths and a chance to win a new car, said Sister Brid O’Shay.
The three-day event, beginning today, is the largest fund-raiser for St. Columban’s Catholic School, a 318-student, kindergarten through eighth-grade facility, O’Shay said. She said proceeds will also help the church’s school of religious education.
The festival is free. Hours are 6 to 10 o’clock this evening, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
The church is at 10855 Stanford Ave.
