Caltech Gets $500,000 to Study Air Pollution

Caltech has been awarded a five-year, $500,000 grant from ARCO to fund the Caltech Center for Air Quality Analysis.
The center will focus on the development and use of air pollution models, which are critical to air-quality analysis and control. The center is also funded by the Texaco Philanthropic Foundation, the Ford Motor Co. and the Unocal Foundation.
