Political power is not a right, it is a privilege. This privilege is granted by the people to those within government. It is, therefore, within the authority of the people to construct limits to political and governmental powers. “Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

In California on Tuesday, we all have a rare opportunity to put limits on those elected incumbent politicians by voting a big yes on Prop. 140. Prop. 140 limits the terms of state politicians, eliminates their over-bloated pensions and reduces the size of their staff.
