Azusa : ‘Handicap Access’ Panel

Share

The City Council has tentatively approved creation of a five-member “handicap access” commission to advise the city on architectural improvements.

The council Monday unanimously approved forming the commission, to be composed of five citizens appointed by the mayor with the consent of the council. At least two of the members will be disabled.

The commissioners will identify areas where access for the handicapped is lacking and prepare plans to eliminate such barriers.
