Singer Axl Rose, facing possible assault charges for allegedly beating his neighbor, asked Monday for a restraining order against her, claiming she is a “potentially dangerous rock-and-roll ‘groupie.’ ”

The 28-year-old lead singer of the heavy metal band Guns N’ Roses wants a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to bar Gabriella Kantor from any contact with him, his wife, Erin, or any visitors to their West Hollywood condominium.

Rose was arrested Oct. 30, after Kantor called the Sheriff’s Department and accused the singer of hitting her on the head with a wine bottle. The alleged assault occurred about 2:30 a.m., outside Rose’s residence in the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive West.
