That Missing Lampshade

Good grief! Even though (Photographer) Peter Ross was out to lunch, or should have been, when he took the picture of the master bedroom of a model “British home” without one of the lampshades, we would hope someone along the line would catch this before it landed on your front page in living color (“True Brit,” Home Design, Oct. 13, 1990).

Do you employ copy editors any more? It appears that (reporter) Janet Kinosian does not know the difference between borders and boarders on her wallpaper, but we expect more of The Times editorial staff.
