Albertson’s Inc.: The Boise, Ida.-based supermarket chain said third-quarter earnings totaled $55.8 million, up 21% from the same period a year ago. Revenue rose 10% to a record $2.02 billion. The company credited higher gross margins due to its new distribution centers.
