Hard to ‘Unmask’ What Hasn’t Been Really Hidden

Oh, come on now!

There’s enough interesting about the enigmatic home and history at San Marino’s Morgenthaler property (Times, Nov. 25) without embellishing your upfront premise by saying the movie-set type false-front “has now been unmasked.”

All anyone interested in the property had to do in recent years to see the modest structure behind the mansion-like front facade was to look at it from the side street to the south (Sherwood Road).
