First it was Pepsi, then Big Macs. Now Reader’s Digest is headed to Moscow in a Russian-language version.

George Grune, Reader’s Digest chairman and chief executive officer, said publishing in the Soviet Union will begin in August of next year with the magazine sold primarily at news stands. Articles will be translated from the U.S. edition of the magazine, he said Wednesday.

Grune said Reader’s Digest had been assured complete editorial freedom by Soviet officials.
