Three D Departments Inc.: The Costa Mesa home textile retailer posted first quarter net income of $113,881, a 7% increase from the $106,706 reported for the year-earlier period. Sales for the quarter ended Oct. 27 rose 27%, to $11.4 million from $9.0 million. The company said the sales increase resulted primarily from the acquisition of eight Linen Plus stores.
